I love Psalm 37:4 as much as the next Jesus-girl. Recently, after a gloomy couple of days, I opened my Bible App to find this was the verse of the day. I was so grateful for this verse but the teachings that surrounded it really drove this verse home for me in a new, refreshing way which I just had to share with you.
I just want a hug. I want to hug all those who are hurting. By nature, I am a healer, caretaker, fixer, and a helper. Physical touch is not my first love language, but I miss it terribly.
There is a much more dangerous disease spreading fast across the world, without much fuss. It spreads through your phone or even just by hearing about someone else who has it. You can give it to yourself when you’re all alone if you’re not careful. This disease can be very dangerous to the mind and to the soul, and eventually destroy your faith.
Hebrews 11 is known as the hall of fame filled with heroes of faith. Studying this chapter inspires me with the strong desire to also become a hero of faith.
