We are constantly finding ourselves in the middle of a process, or a race, whether it is in our pursuit of health, wealth or happiness. Endurance is needed in all aspects life to thrive through the middle of every stage, especially in our battle of faith.
This world is an ugly unfair place, filled with evil and injustice. Bad things happen to good people and bad people get everything they want. We learn repeatedly that there will never be a “happily ever after” this side of God’s kingdom, but when our hearts are broken again we are left feeling hopeless.
When we have this hope in our eternal future and trust in the power of the Holy Spirit, we are filled with joy and peace. As a result, there is no room for doubts and fears.
